Congratulations to all of our Cub Scouts for their wonderful showing in the Pack Pinewood Derby. We had some wonderful looking cars show up to race. I was very impressed at the obvious boy built cars that we had race. Everyone did a great job. A special job well done goes out to the Cub Scouts that placed in the top three positions in our race. They traveled to the District Pinewood Derby and had a great run there.

Bradley Clippinger created his first Reading Fair Project and won first place in his 3rd grade division at the competition at his Southaven Elementary School. The project was titled, Garfield, Mystery of Tales, The Purloined Pie. His project included drawings of Garfield, Yodie, Jon and Jon’s Grandmother. Bradley and his mother are very proud of his accomplishments. Pack 509 is proud to have such a gifted Scout in our group.
